Hello DVES Choir! Holy Moly...What a crazy year, but we have made it through with smiles through our masks. So we have now changed choir to WEDNESDAY from 3:45-4:45. For now we are just doing one day a week. As many of you know, Mrs. Freebairn is currently pregnant, and we may go to two days a week once she has the baby and is back from maternity leave next year. For now, Mrs. Bulkey, has kindly offered to help until Mrs. Freebairn returns. Since we have to be creative in our performances, be patience as we try to maneuver restrictions and precautions. My plan is to currently be able to do a outside choir performance when the school is sitting waiting for the Halloween parade around the track to start on Friday 30th. Things do change so quickly, but this is the tentative plan. We also are thinking of doing a Google meet Christmas sing along with the entire school that we will learn some songs for. We always try to do an end of year performance that we will continue to practice songs for and just wait to see what comes then. We will wait to hear from Tuachan about the annual choir performances that we are always involved in. Lots of waiting, but we will be learning songs, having fun, and we will be ready when we have a way to perform and to be safe. Thank you for your patience and your positive voices!!
